Every so often, a product is delivered by the nice FedEx man that really makes us smile because of it’s completely unique approach.

You’ve seen iPhone cases and laptop bags, but have you seen one of these? A gadget holster for the Apple fan who loves to travel! This holster (which looks like a police issue gun sling) not only makes you feel like a super-sleuth spy but also allows you to carry a bag load of expensive gadgets discreetly. The Gadget Holster is no one-trick pony though – the makers have provided storage for all of the following:

• iPhone (2 if you like – alternatively many electronic devices should fit the e-volve
• Glasses (take one of your iPhones out)
• Credit / Debit / ID cards
• Keys
• Money (notes and coinage)
• Pens
• Earphones

As mentioned above, the Gadget Holster will see all your personal goods held close to your body – protected by the fact this sits comfortably under most jackets and jumpers and the 2 strong magnets on the outer flap. The outer flap has a secure closure and the magnets make sure this will never fall open accidentally – and should provide resistance for even the best pick pockets. Even if it did ‘fall’ open all items inside are held in place with stretchy material that gives each item a secure storage place. The holster is made of a light-weight neoprene material and should provide an amount of water resistance.

The Holster itself is made up of a one piece velcro strap and gadget bag, with an adjustable strap that bridges the width of your back and secures around your right arm to support the bag placed on your left side. To wear, the eHolster is very comfortable – something we’ll talk about later in our test.

The Gadget Holster is made of a lightweight neoprene with presumably nylon edging to give the bag realy strength and durability. The quality of the product is good, with no loose threads or flaws in the manufacturing process.

The eHolster has places for everything, even Credit cards – you probably won’t need a clunky old wallet with this thing! Your pockets will thank you!

You can use the large internal pockets to hold 2 iPhones, an iPod touch, your glasses, charging cables, pretty much anything!

And a moderately sized internal zipped pocket for keys, dollar notes e.t.c

The outside rear pocket could be used for storing the stuff you want close to hand such as change, another phone, maps, airplane tickets or a passport.

The main strap has a rubber hole for wiring your headphones neatly behind the strap – clever!

Test

Now for the test. Fully loaded the Gadget Holster feels weighty but not uncomfortable when adjusted correctly. Movement isn’t restricted and you’ll get used to wearing it very quickly. Wearing this under a zip up jacket means it’s almost undetectable, just like a real James Bond gadget.

Verdict

We review dozens of products a week, but this one really stands out. We highly recommend the holster if your a geek who regularly carries pockets full of gadgets on local or long distance journeys. The eHolster lets you store gadgets discreetly whilst retaining quick and easy access to everything stored within.
