All-In Yoga: All-In Yoga is a great tool for beginner or seasoned yogis. Map My Fitness: This is another free app that makes for a best running route or cycling route friend. No matter where you are, the phone uses its GPS to track and map your workout. There are many good programs online, but this one you can take on the go and track as you run, and can navigate through areas that are off the beaten track, like the park or wooded areas. Nike Training Club: Another great free app, you can create a playlist from your library to sync with a chosen circuit routine. You can also let the app do it directly for you. There is a brief countdown to each set, and a voice over on your songs, telling you exactly what to do next. We love this one! Get it from the App Store here.
Tempo Magic Pro: Runners will appreciate Tempo Magic Pro, despite the $4.99 price tag. This app lets you adjust a song’s tempo in order to match your pace or workout speed without making it sound distorted or awkward. Get it from the App Store here.
Easy 5km with Jeff Galloway: Jeff Galloway’s unique Run-Walk-Run training method is highlighted in this app, alongside lolo’s beat-sync technology which perfectly matches the tempo of your music to your running pace. Designed for couch potatoes or avid runners, the 7 week program to help you complete your first 5K race, which an additional 7 weeks to help improve your time.
