One more here for the trial…
Apple could have made shareware a possibility in the OS 3.0 with paid-extras within apps. But instead they force developers to have to release a full version and a lite one.

And it’s true, most apps are crap. Any moron with the SDK thinks they can charge money for their dumb ideas. All those “fart” applications are a waste of time and disk space.

What the article says to me, isn’t so much that iPhone users get bored, it’s the App Developers aren’t creating useful, well-designed apps (with some obvious exceptions). Amen to the 1-day trial!

I can attest to this. I have bought a ton of iPhone apps, just to be disappointed and not use them more then once.

Wish they had a 1 day trial for apps. That would be pretty essential for me to buy anything other then really highly ranked and reviewed apps again.
