The tripod costs $15, is very lightweight and totally fold able. This makes it a great companion when on the road. To keep things totally steady, the mount actually slots into the dock. The tripod promises improved stability, and thus much better photos and videos. The adapter can also be used to fit the iPhone to standard tripods, which makes the purchase worthwhile in itself.
