A series of photos from Chinese iPod case manufacturers suggest that upcoming versions of the iPod Touch and Nano will include built-in cameras.
Cult of Mac has obtained a pile of images of what they say is “the worst-kept secret in China.”
We will assume that they likely aren’t designing these for knockoffs, but instead correspond with earlier news and allegations regarding slews of articles on Apple’s recent order of cameras.

I have the 2nd generation iPod Touch and the only thing I would like to see added is a camera. I have no pressing need (there is a want) for constant connectivity. My office, home, and local café have Wi-Fi and that works well enough for me. With the addition of a camera I would be able to take those “around town” photos without the need to carry around my Nikon.
